If you believe a story contains a factual error, send the article link, the statement you believe is incorrect and any supporting evidence through our contact page.
We review the published material and the evidence available. If a material error is confirmed, we correct it as soon as practical and add a note explaining the significant change.
A story may be clarified when the original wording is accurate but incomplete or open to a misleading interpretation. New developments may be marked as updates rather than corrections.
A difference of opinion is not itself a factual error. We nevertheless welcome evidence, context and thoughtful responses that can improve the public discussion.
